My trip

I am in gatlinburg right now, in the hampton. I just graduated on friday. I had a good and bad trip. Good, was I made a few friends, flew F/A-18s, built a 2 stage rocket, and other space stuff. Bad, I had and idiot on my team ( his callsign was hoops ) , I hated my position ( PROP ) , I got really homesick, I couldn't sleep, and I was the only space-buff on my team. But my dad told me kids like hoops, who I will now identify as idiot, are on earth because they show you how much you appreciate real friends. To sum it all up, idiot was mean, and tried to hide it. My callsign was Caesar, like the roman dude. I really enjoyed the HELO dunker. I like my team last year better, they would talk about stuff beside rap, mtv, ande dirty jokes. I am NOT complaining, I am just saying... WAIT, idiot's got a new nickname, Kevin Donaldson.

Now, now. Kevin turned out all right in the end. Don't smear poor Kevin's name ;) He DID take command and save the ship. That must count for something! :)

That's a real bummer, Dan. I think most of us have already come to the conclusion that it's your team and counselors who really make or break a camp and there's nothing anyone can do about it. I had one trip that really sucked. Ironically, I was also prop (called Booster/Prop at the time). It didn't deter me, though; I've come back several more times and I still love it.

Hey Dan we all have had a bad team, I have had a couple and I still go back. Plus I plan on becoming a Counselor some day.
