You should have a better schedule this time! We were in the "guinea pig" session. We wrote pages full of comments on what was good and bad.

Jeremy was a great counselor last time I am so glad to have her again. This will be the first time I ever had a counselor for the 2nd time.

If the August team name is Marshall, I wonder if that is a hint that they are going to let us go on a tour of Marshall SFC? Hmmmm

Yes, I'm somewhat surprised that work has gone as quickly as it has this week...I figured this week would be torture.

One more day!

I am flying North West on Friday. Why is North West a bad choice? (It is my only option!)

Yikes! Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, I cannot change my flights at all, and I did not buy travel insurance, so I shall cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best. As is, it will already take me 11.5 hours to fly from point A to point B, plus customs time, so any delays will not be appreciated, not to mention how hungry I would get!

On another note, your alumni camp starts TOMORROW!! Wow, exciting!

Well, the calendar rolled over today to a new month, so all their flight clocks reset. On a positive note, Northwest is a travel partner of Delta & Continental airlines. If something should happen, say with your connections, they can easily put you on one of the other two airlines. My husband until recently traveled alot for his job and he'd make a reservation with one of those three and get transferred to another. Happened all the time. No worries...if something should happen, just consider it part of the adventure. It's all in the attitude. :D

I thought the same thing about the new month. I'm sure I would have been fine if I kept NW I just couldn't take that chance! :( I checked the same flights today and they were all roughly on time. :)

lol Well I'm still driving home and already back here on the site. I just want to convey how happy I was to be able to spend a few days with the great guys of Team Columbia. I often have refered to the USSRC as a home of mine, and that's always because the people I have been fortunate enough to spend my time with there were of such a high caliber of personality. With this most recent trip, I was again graced with an absolutly wonderful group of individuals to spend an exceptional time with in Huntsville. My appreciation goes out to my new friends with the hopes that even though life goes on and contact fades, that we will all have this experience to look back on with a big smile.

Oh, and I apparently lied to you all this weekend.

I went to AC in June of 91. Not 92 as I believed. Sorry

BUT I did find both team photos, and my certificates. I was also reminded that my AC Falcons team received the "Red Flag Award". All of these items (including my Space Academy nametag) were all shoved inside the 1991 Application book. That was fun to flip through! I'll try to get some uploading of pictures done this week!
