June Alumni Camp Plans

Post by Benji »

For everyone going to camp next week, what are your arrival/pre-camp plans?

I'm coming in on Delta 6150 from Atlanta arriving at 3:10 pm on Wednesday. I'm staying in a dorm at UAH that first night and the Hab for the rest of the time. I'll be at the USSRC super-early on Thursday morning. If anyone wants to get together to grab a drink, hang out, kill time, share a cab, etc., drop me a line. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time.

I get in at 2pm Tuesday on United. I'll be staying at the Marriott for the duration. Not sure what I'll be doing once I get to the USSRC on Tuesday but I'll be around and will go out if anyone wants to. I leave Monday at 2pm.

I'm arriving in on American at 9am on Thursday morning. I'm planning on taking a cab over to USSRC after I get my baggage and all. I don't know what I'll do for those few hours in between getting in to Huntsville and check in time at camp. Since check in time isn't until 1, will I be able to hang around the space center or something until then?

Awesome, I look forward to seeing everyone. The easiest way to meet up is probably just calling, my cell phone number is 813-361-5226. See everyone Wednesday or Thursday!

I will not have a cell phone because my phone company does not work in the states so I'll have to call from the hotel and meet up somewhere.

I'm hoping that my cell phone gets a clear signal down there. According to my company's website, it's supposed to, but I always seem to find areas where my phone doesn't want to get a signal.

Is it only counselors doing the ATO Saturday night? Or will we be in on that too?

Adult campers have the freedom to choose if they want to go out after the days activities. And the more people that go out the bigger the party will be.

It sounds like it will be an alumni ATO especially hab 1 alumni though if its typical of most saturday nights there will be other counselors there as well.
