Well, there's a fairly real chance I could be a counselor next summer at camp! :D

Well, you need at least two years of college first...then you apply...along with your application, you either have to go in for a meeting or videotape yourself answering various questions and send that in...

If they think you'd make a good counselor, you're in...

...While there's a couple of companies I would very much like a summer internship with, if I can't work for one of those, I'm going to go down to Huntsville, I think!

Speaking of which...just out of curiosity, did any of you happen to run into Vanessa while you were down there?

Sure did! Lyn and I talked to her at lunch one day and told her how much we liked her site. she said she'd be updating it (last) weekend.

During my first trip I was so overjoyed with everything but sad because I thought I'd never get to go back. I kept going to Spacecamp.com and one day saw the $499 tution. It's the only reason i got to go back. This year I also got a discount. I'mso lucky to be able to be returning. Just think LB - you've been more times than a lot of us - just not recently.

After this trip I won't be back for at least 4 years because I'm going to university. And i don't even know how soon after I'll be going. I want to go backpacking in Europe for a while and also go to Africa. It may be ten years before I return but I will return.

Dunno...after a year or two at university first, a good way to save money for those trips might just be as a camp counselor during the summers!

I have to do field studies after my second year. And my summer job would be out in a middle of the forest. I wouldn't have time to be a counselor and i'd like to stick with something that would help me get job experince. I'd love to be a counselor but I don't think it will happen. Plus, I'd have to apply for a work visa and everything. It would be too complicated and I'd make more money up here.
