I was at a party at my residence at the University of Alberta a few weekends ago and was talking to an exchange student from another tower. He is majoring in Astrophyics so the conversation drifted towards space. I had mentioned that I flew the space shuttle and he was like "oh, at space camp?" It turns out he had been to space camp when he lived in Atlanta. It really is a small world.

This has happened to me alot over the years. I know atleast 4 people i work with have been to space camp in one form or another. I have run into people randomly that have been to camp especially visitors to the museum where i work. And recently i found out a friend of mines brother has also gone to space camp.

And yes i know this is dragging out an old topic but i'm board and aparebntly missed it the first time it showed up. And was looking for intresting older topics.

when my parents picked me up from space camp my mom ended up sitting next to a tall gentleman. they got to talking and found out that it was his son that was at camp and that they were from Wisconsin Rapids as well. met his son several years later through some mutual friends and even had the father as my tech school physics proff. talk about a small world.
