Oh I did, lots of references to him, technical papers etc. etc.
given that he had always been a feature at ASA I thought someone on this fourm would know. Current counselors I'm looking at you..

He was there in September 2004 and September 2005.

Yup he is still kicking. Dr. Von T was speaking twice a week to trainees the whole time I was there. Supposidly it was going to be his last season, and he was finally going to retire... but I heard he'd changed his mind right before I left in August.

I'm sure that he's alive and kickin if anything happened to him I'm sure it would be reported on here very soon after

Yes he sure is. And as energetic as ever lol. HE was tehre at camp and talked to us, in July. He is really cool

I don't think he'll ever retire. He has far too much passion for that...

When I was there last month (September) he gave us the two hour lecture as usual and afterwards i was speaking to my counselor about him (our whole group love him) she was saying it was his last year and he was going to stop giving lectures.
