Hi! I'm new to the boards, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I went to SA Level I June 16-21, 1991, and Adult ASA Sept. 9-14, 2001. Yes, that's 10 years between trips! I remember asking Joel (I think that was his name) at orientation "What changes have happened here in the last 10 years?" He was like "Uh, I don't really know because I haven't been here that long." I had a great time teasing the counselors about that. It was neat going back and seeing all the things that had changed, and those that hadn't. So, if anyone has questions about the adult program, just ask me. Also, I'll post an article I wrote for the local paper about what it was like to be at Camp during Sept. 11 if anyone's interested.

Welcome aboard Kemara glad to have someone new other than the 3 people who always posts here. Hope you post some more. aND I THINK PUTTING THE STORY UP WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA.

Yes Joel is his name and he's been there 5 years.

I thought the name Joel sounded familiar. If hes been their 5 years i was there his second year.

Yeah... his name is Joel Walsh and he's the Space Programs Assistant Manager. He's the Chief Resident so he's in charge of just about everything. Here's a not so great picture of him(from spacecamp.com):



He's got really grey hair. He is also really strict and will send you home without a second thought.

Well i sort of remember someone like that and by that name but its been 4 years the face isnt really familiar. when i was their the Chief Resident was one of my old counselors back then.
