In all the hab roomsi have been in, some crazy people always leave behind their phone # or othermessages, i had the bed with the most privacy, on the bottom with the wall thing, and there were like 10 #'s on it, and bible inscriptions, and just random messages, it was interesting. My roommates even tried to call one of the numbers....THey were crazy lol, has anyone else noticed all teh craziness people write on the walls?
One of the messages was also in my locker and on the wall next to me reading, "beware the spaceghost" and "the spaceghost will get you in 5...4....3....2.....1...BOO" it was quite interesting.

We had someone from the week before us leave a carton of chocolate milk up in the air vent. Needless to say, it went sour and made our whole room smell rank. It took them two days to find out what the smell was - horrible!

Wow, now that's just mean whoever did that. That must have been bad.. That stinks that your room smelled for the week :(

It didn't smell the whole week. I think they found it, removed it, and de-stinkified out our room by the time we got back to our beds on day two, so we only had to suffer for one night.

On a different topic, there used to be coins stuck in the foam on Pathfinder's ET.

Back on topic, when I was in Adult ASA we tried to ring one of the phone numbers on the wall too but the number had since been disconnected. Why would anyone think of writing their phone number on the wall anyway? Let's see how many random SA and ASA campers will call me over the summer even if they don't know me. Random!

No, I didn't write my number on the wall. I meant that as a thought going through someone's head who DID write their name on the wall, what were they thinking? Crazy people. I'm against vandalism of any sort!

Now posters... that would be interesting. Maybe I'll get some posters and decorate the Hab rooms next time I'm there...

ok well im changing the subject back to smelly stuff... i ono if any of u all were there the summer of july 23, 2003... but i was in SA and my roommate wetted the bed... well none of us ( the rest of the roomies) knew she did until like the 2nd night or so after she did bc our room statred to reek.. she had kept the sheet under the desk .... and well i tried to do every thing i could to get rid it the stench i asked one of the night counclers if they had any lysol spray, when that didnt work i tried body spray, when that didnt work i tried prefume, and when that didnt work i went to all of the roomies and by the process of elimation i figured out it was her... least to say she had a bladder control issue but she thought that they couldnt give her any extra bedding materials...i told her that they have PLENTY of extra bedding.. so she got new sheet and all was well .... except the stench.. well i had to sleep eith my face in the pillow for a few nights that was soked in perfume and she was fine.. but the worst and i think the funniest part was that it had the ENTIRE had smelling by the end of the week and it still hadnt settled by the time i had left... lol..

I think it's a tradition at all camps. When I went to Camp Oaks near Big Bear, Ca all the matresses had written, I love blah blah on them. Before you leave you write who you like in hopes they would come up and see it and wonder who wrote it.

People like to leave their mark (I guess like dogs do  ) where they go. You take so much from it, you have to leave alittle of yourself behind.

I left memories of my charming personality.

Seriously though, it probably sucks to have to be the person that every year goes around and scrubs the writing off of everything...
