Tonight while surfing the net looking at the USSRC and Space camp website looking at the restoration amount they have there was a link that said webcam I clicked it and it show the Staurn V and some of the rockets and F-Force. To look at it you need to install something but it ask you if you want to install it before the image comes up. here is the link

Great sleuthing mates! Great link indeed.
I have found all kinds of Space Camp and USSRC stuff floating around the web. The latest is a bunch of videos someone took from their week - with the counsellor narrating the rocket park tour, and another of Dr. vonT's presentation... nice!

I'm not sure I'm seeing this crane you all seem to be seeing...
...also, as of last week, they sure weren't working on anything...

As of your posting, the crane has been completely lowered...but you can still see it if you look towards the top of the first stage of the Saturn V. It's white...

As for the USSRC webcam, the next time someone is at camp we should plan a time for them to do something on camera... write a message in people or something.

Why are they building a structure thing around the Saturn V?

I think they are buliding a temp buliding so they can refurbish it there and then move it.

ApolloXI is absolutely correct. They are refurbishing the SaturnV then shrink wrapping it for travel and to protect it.

Wow... I had no idea they were going to refurbish it first! That's better, of course, though, since we'll all be able to watch... well, sort of, at least, since it'll be behind a barrier for a while there...

They are going to construct a building for it in the Area 51, rocket launch, trailer park area. Bad thing is all those will be torn down.

But... What about the Homer Hickam Jr. Rocket launch site? Thats going to be a long walk for muesum visitors...

Hmm... and what are they going to do to the walk? Keep it rough and dirt-ful, or pave it or something?

There will be shuttles running back and forth to the SaturnV. From what I understand, rocket launch and Area 51 will move closer to AC. Down to where the capture the flag course is.

I hope these shuttles will be wheel chair accessable.
