[Darn] It Feels Good To Be a Gangster just reminds me of a scene in Office Space...which reminds me so much of work it's hilarious!

We didn't have too much music being played at camp, though I do remember it being a topic of discussion at Otter's :)

Mir - The Kicks

That's an amazing song!! I'd post the lyrics . . .but it's semi-dirty in spots, not bad, but some people may not like it.

All of my life
Where have you been?
I wonder if I'll ever see you again
And if that day comes
I know we could win
I wonder if I'll ever see you again

Well i've never thought about this one much till i read these posts but i thought of a few songs that do remind me of Camp.

For Space Camp, The green Acres theme song. This takes some explaining but the first night i was at camp in 91 we had dionner at the picnic tables that are along the path between the rocket park and pathfinder and thay had music playing. One of the songs played wascalled On Orbit and was doene to the Green Acres theme. Wish i could find a copy of the on orbit song. They also played several others that were done to other show themes cant remember any now though.

Academy i really cant think of any.

Aviation Challenge- The Entire Top Gun Sound Track which i found a copy of just prior to going to AC and had a ciopy with me when i was there. And though its not a song nesecarily the movie Independence Day reminds me of Ac also because it came out when i was down there and i remember all the counselors saying You have to see that movie. A bunch of them went opening day and saw it when they were off.

Advanced Space Academy- The sound track to Armageddon. i love the sound track anyway but again the movie came out that week also. And specificly the song Leaving on a Jet Plane from the soundtrack alwaysd reminds me of the saying goodbyes at the end of that awesome week in 98.

I will second that... attending ASA just a week after you did in 1998, I had the whole 'Leaving on a jet plane' experience at camp too. On an entirely different note, my family took me to see 'Armageddon' in theatres the day before I left for Space Camp. I didn't even remember the movie because I kept thinking to myself 'wow, I get to do that in a few days', referring to the SCUBA, and some other stuff.

Any-who... other songs include:
Sweet Home Alabama (coincidentally played on the radio during our drive to the airport for my first week at camp)
Jesus Freak by DC Talk (sung by many of us on the bus on our way to Marshall)
Lost that Love and Feeling (whatever the title is...)
all songs by Max Q

I think that is all. Other songs trigger memories too, but I cannot think of them right now.

After the last two weeks I've gotta say that I won't be able to listen to The Lion Sleeps Tonight without thinking of camp ever again.
