What ever happened to them giving hats when you went. I went in 91 and got a visor and in 93 i got a hat. After that i didnt get any kind of hat when i went.

I think thats only for Space Camp and Space Academy.

It miht be but i know at one time Space Academy level 2 use to give them as well. I dont know if AC ever did

I doubt it. The reason I thought only SC and SA got the hats is because whenever SC and SA lined up, they all wore their team shirt (different colored ringers for each team, and most of them wore the cap too (or maybe my memory is fooling me).

I think the diffrent color ringers actually were for the diffrent programs. Red use to be worn by camp and blue by the two academy levels. When i went in 91 we had diffrent colored visors to indicate teams and the name of the team was on the back of the shirts. I do remember Space Academy level 2 had black harts with US Space Academy on it and scrambled eggs on the brim.

The camp get's more expensive yet you get less stuff!!

I've noticed that too. You pay more and get less stuff and less days in some cases than they use to.

The shirt I got had no ringers, it simply said ADVANCED ACADEMY on the back and the logo in front.

The shirts with ringers were phased out in the early 90s i had one in 91 but had a new style in 93 more like the one you described.

I still have my Brown visor from the Telidyne Brown team in 91. But when i went in 93 noone on the team liked the academy hats they gave us soi we all bought NASA hats from the gist shop and wore those. I dont know what happened to my academy hat it dissapeared while i was at camp.

I have a nice space and rocket center polo shirt with an ebvroidered shuttle on it. I like to wear it alot too.
