Hey delayed to july means that its more possible for me to go to the launch. Anybody know if they're taking pigs with them?

I wish they'd quit delaying it. I guess it's for the best though, we want to be safe. Still, it's tough to wait!

Hmm... glad I didn't miss it, but then again, I think I'll be in Ecuador during the entire mission...

My school owns a preserve down there (pretty dang cool, I know), so I'll be spending a week there then another week at this cool ecolodge place. It's going to be awesome.

What grade are you in? Technically, they have one trip for adults and alumni, so you could actually join in on a trip if you really wanted to, though you'd have to wait for next summer. If you really want info, lemme know and I could get you some.

I'm a junior (11th grade). My parents are having hard enough of a time letting me go to New Zealand this summer, I think Ecuador would probably be out of the question.

Flight scrubbed!
Well, for now... the launch is delayed de to a faulty sensor.
Keep watching NASA TV and

One sensor out of four. The regs said if two said yes then the flight was a go. It'll be lucky to launch this month, much less this year. The nail is in the coffin.

I saw a picture of Eileen Collins coming out of the Orbiter yesterday she didn't look too happy.
I am going to have to quote Alan Shepard here "Alright, I'm cooler than you are. Why don't you fix your little problems and light this candle?"

Pessimism is merely reality in it's harshest form. And such is life.

Pessimism or realism you may have been wrong on this one.
Looks like we're going on Tuesday barring any unexpected issues.
