Hey all!

A woman I work with was telling me they had a program on the TV news recently about interesting things to do...not sure if the program focused on kids or people of all ages, but Space Camp was featured! The lady's grandson saw it and said to her, "Is there really a place where you can go and do that"? She answered, "Yes, a lady at work <me> went"! So, hopefully it made a prospective camper out of him! I told the lady I hoped he would go someday.

I don't know if this was a local or national program - anyone see anything like it? -C

No, I definately didn't see anything like that. Is this a Canadian thing?

Nope, I think it was on the local (Syracuse, New York) news...we're pretty close to Canada, though...only an hour or two from the border, and 5 hours from Toronto (driving)

well there was something on the travel channel a while back that may have been it

I think I saw the same program its was like 15-minutes of coverage of camp showcasing it as a good camp for kids...it was a while back...i miss the days of the commericals that everyone seems to remember for one reason or another....
