I forgot how many days it was... 13, was it? Anyways, does anyone know the dates for the alumni sessions of these this summer? I need to begin planning, and hopefully I could be able to coordinate with some of you to show up for the same program... anybody know?

My 2005 programme guide arrived by post on Friday. In it, all is explained. All sessions will be for alumni AND new trainees. However, the alumni pilots and alumni MSs will be teamed together and the new trainees will be on their own team. (Alumni can register as a new person if they wish.) Then, the new trainees will start with basic stuff and alumni trainees will start with more advanced activities.

So, that's how it goes... any questions?

I have a question. When are the dates?

According to the Space Camp website (as the book does not publish the dates for the 13-day programme) the dates are:

29 May to 10 June 2005
26 June to 08 July 2005
31 July to 12 August 2005

For Mach III, the 13-day programmes are:

29 May to 10 June 2005
31 July to 12 August 2005

I MIGHT be able to do June/July... it all depends on when my school trip is going to Ecuador... also, if that one doesn't work, I can probably do July/August... that all depends on when college starts... which all depends on where I get accepted... haha. Sad... last ASA for me... oh so sad... I'm definitely going to have to become a mainstay counselor, maybe even make a career out of it... yeah, I don't know how I'll live without it otherwise...

Anyways... so there are only three 13-day sessions in the first place?

I've been saying last asa for me for like 3 years. And then i just keep going. However i'm approaching the age cutoff.

13 day would probably be my last trip to camp, but Im definately gonna register for the Christmas Camp which happens when im 19. I'll barely be 19 so registering before then should be a piece of cake.

Yeah you got lucky. My 19th birthday falls right in the middle of most july sessions. Or on the last day as this summers camp had it. :D

Well, hey all, when you age out of regular camp, you'll just have to start going to adult camp! I was so excited when I first found out the adult camp existed, and realized I hadn't missed out on the Space Camp experience forever.

Most of my team members had been given their trip as a birthday or other present, and when I found this out, I said, "Okay, what does it say about me that I'm here under my own free will"? Hehehe...one of them replied that it must show how adventurous I am!! Either that, or I didn't have someone at home who wanted a break from me for a weekend :P
