Ghosts

Post by Space Nerd »

I thought I would start a new thread that didnt have anything to do with politics in the hopes that perhaps we could get some amusement out of it. :D So the question I ask you is do you believe in ghosts? Its a simple question with many possible answers and I thought everybody would have some unique viewpoints on it. I personally believe in ghosts or spirits. So? :D

i belive in ghosts because yesterday at dinner i was in the caferteria happlyily eating when all of a sudden my cup moved about an inch for no particular reason and the thing is i was watching it when it happened so i know that a friend didnt do it
The thing that drives me most is that people tell me that ill never be an astronaut. My love and passion for space will lead me to new heights, hopefully back to the moon or mars.

I belive that FIT's theater is haunted. I saw funny things twice in one week.
Account One: I was sitting in a lecture in the theater, during the middle of the lecture I saw a white veil floating next to me, in the next seat. No one else seemed to notice but the room was not packed.
Account Two: About three days after the frist account I saw a shadow of a person's head on the wall in the same area as the frist. No one close was close enough to cast a shadow.

yeah, our theatre is haunted.
and, ironically, we're doing portions of a play right now...a shakespeare play...with the beginning letter "m"...ending with "acbeth". 8O

Nice. My other Shakespeare favorite would have to be the tale of "H"... "amlet". I dont think we have any haunted theatres around here, thankfully, that would make the horror films even more interesting. Mostly, the only stuff occupying our theatres are bats lol. Theres lots of haunted places in my area. Enough that a guy from my town wrote a book about it! I've had some rather spooky encounters but nothing so terrifying that i've been scarred for life. Anybody have any that actually made you scared of a place or thing?

I have a friend who's house is haunted. He's a very honest and trustworthy person, and I completely believe the story he told me. The one time I was in his house, nothing strange happened, the group of us just sat around and hung out after watching Phantom of the Opera. He mentioned that his house was haunted and I asked to hear about it. I thought I was the only one that was very interested in it, but it turns out the rest were too, they just didn't say anything, lol. I like stories, especially ones of that nature.

Lol, I am dragging up old posts. This is an off topic area, so I'm trying to find good things that are off topic. I just happen to like the topics you put up, lol.
