I got him mixed up with Scott Carpenter for some reason and was going to say he wasnt all that good at being an astronaut but hey cooper was cool man so yes

It's quite sad..gordo was a great astronaut...now only 3 mercury astronauts remain

at least now gordo's hanging out with gus and the rest of the guys ..that's one good way to think about it
