None of my space camp dreams are like space camp at all. They always end up being really weird. Space camp is in there in some part at some point but not always a huge part of it. I know i had a getting toi camp dream one time where i was on a space camp bus with my old counselor and a whole new team trying to get to camp from somewhere although i think it was from alot further than the airport.

I have had dreams about Space Camp before (several really...) They always seem to combine my primary school with the camp. It is very strange. It is a day at camp mixed with a day at my old school.
At school we all had ID cards that hung around our necks with our picture and a magnetic strip so we could use lockers, go to the pool, etc. In my dream, the name cards at camp became access passes with magnetic strips. We had to use them to unlock doors and use the simulators. I would wander around camp with friends trying our cards in every door to find secret passage ways, extra classrooms, and even a simulator in use by some real astronauts. Even the Space Camp campus started to look like some places around school.
Anyway, I have strange dreams... sometimes I even dream I am a counsellor. A week at camp gets cancelled and so all the counsellors put on their own special camp where they fly weird missions and go on all the simulators for hours and hours...

A) Hey Drumrollz, please do post some more around-camp-scenery pictures without people... I love the feel of the place... (make a new thread or find an old one, I guess)
B) I just remembered (finally) some of my Space Camp dreams. I remember one setup where the TCF/Cafeteria area became some sort of mall thing with a second floor... I seem to remember a gigantic McDonald's-style playplace thing over where the public cafeteria and those restrooms are. Don't remember any story details, though. I also remember one where check-in was in like the cafeteria area or something, and the main area was down a few stairs and a ramp instead of up some... and like tons of people I knew were there. Again, I don't remember any details beyond that.

I just remembered another dream I had. The campus was one giant HAB1 building with pedways to other smaller HAB1-style buildings.
You would walk in from the end of the main HAB1-type building. It had a glass ceiling, so there was lots of light. To the left was this huge space store, to the right was an entrance to the museum and a pedway to another building with the museum.
At the back they had a registration area for camp with pedways to the sleeping quarters, the training building and a mess hall type building, all shaped like 3-level HAB1 buildings, although they had a lot more windows and glass walls/ceilings. They also had some flying EVA astronauts hanging from the ceiling like they used to have in HAB1.
The top two floors of the main building were for the younger kids. One floor was housing and another floor was a huge greenhouse and small training area with classrooms. They would sometimes come to the training building too, but not too often.
Anyway... thought I'd add that in there... Intricate, I know, but I had that dream about a dozen times, a year or two after camp!

Maybe I'm the only one with strange dreams... but whatever... thought I'd share this one I had last night.
I arrived at adult camp registration, but they wouldn't let me register because they thought I was from the youth camp. (They didn't believe my passport! And my friend who is coming with me somehow missed her flights and never came.) Since there was no youth camp that week I spent the whole time sneaking around and trying to catch up with the adult group. They were all kind of mean to me because they all thought I was from youth camp too. However, they were nice enough to let me participate in most of their activities.
I had to sleep in one of the HAB II rooms all by myself. I spent a lot of time making a secret hide-out in there so nobody could find me. I got to do a lot of secret things though. I roamed around the TCF playing with the simulators, the 'peter pan' EVA on Enterprise, and spent time in the museum.
The strangest part of it all was the UAT. It was outside in the middle of a field. If you were to go to the rocket launch pad, extended the field to where the campground currently is, that was where the UAT was. It was just a free-standing pool in the middle of a field with stairs up to the top. When I snuck up on the adults at the UAT, it was on fire? Now how could the UAT catch fire, it's full of water? Oh well, the adults didn't care, they were still SCUBA diving while it was on fire.
I stayed away and went to the AC lake where I did the zip line over and over again. At the end of the week they let me stay for a week of youth ASA camp. That wasn't in my dream though, just everyone else leaving and me moving my stuff from HAB II to HAB I.
I'm strange... very strange... I know...

I had one recently (I've had a few, unfortunately this is the only one I remember) where there was some new Mars simulation thing on the TCF, and while I was down there, I was naked (I have no idea where this came from), and I needed to go to the bathroom, but I was afraid to sneak over to the ones by security for fear of being seen. Yeah, very very odd, I know. Another detail, I think from the same dream, possibly from another, was that the guy that played Miles O'Brien in the Star Trek serieses (TNG and DS9) was my counselor. Odd stuff.

Yes, that is some odd stuff!
The actor you are referring to is Colm Meaney.

Yeah, I knew the last name, I just never remember the first... and it just didn't feel right to say "what's-his-face Meaney." But yeah, it was kind of odd.

I actually had a dream last night. It requires a little background knowledge starting with the fact that i am currently stage managing a show (as in play/theatre) at my local community theatre. Some how i went to space camp and i was with a friend of mine. I needed to find somebody i knew to ask them a question, though i dont remember what the question was. I was looking for a long time and then i finally found a counselor i knew who is actually the director of the show. Incedentially he went to space camp canada when he was younger. And then we got on a plane and were going somewhere but we needed to stop and the pilot wouldnt so the counselor jumped out of the plane and was hanging out of it by a rope. It was a crazy dream and im kinda glad its over lol.

lyn, you're awesome! we're gonna get along just fine, im positive!
okay, so i had a dream last night...and i was at camp, but i hadn't gotten everything together before i left. so i meant to give a counselor something and was furious when i found out i hadn't packed it. (im so worried im going to forget something since i can't find my christmas camp packing list (the week i had ANYTHING i needed, wanted or could find a use for...

lol.) so my dream isn't completely unwarranted.) then a counselor i was trying to talk to had gotten something like harry potter's invisibility cloak or something that could make the counselor disappear. so i kept trying to talk to the counselor and the counselor would just vanish. then i went to the bathroom on the first (? whodathunk ?) floor. lol.
(side note, they need a bathroom on the first floor of the hab. its not fun to run up three flights of stairs when you REALLY have got to go!!!!)
anyhoo, im sure more happened, i just can't remember dreams well, im shocked that i remembered that much!

(lol, sorry, couldn't resist. i love that little guy!)

PS - Sometimes it may be quicker to run to the toilets in HAB II. Less stairs too! (Yes, they should put a small toilet on the first floor of HAB I, possibly where the Interplanetary(?) Bank used to be.)

I had an interesting one last night. When you went out, it was clear that all the action was going on in the Enterprise station area. However, it wasn't like you were actually in there. It was odd. When I was inside, somehow it was the cast of the show Andromeda reinacting it or something weird like that... in fact, I don't think we did anything like in the show, and I don't think the dream-characters actually looked like the characters... it was very odd. And then there was a Vulcan in it too, for some odd reason. A very strange dream.
