I just realized that this is a leap year, which means we have to wait 24 more hours to get to camp then I would other years! What's up with that!?!

What's that? Do you mean they do not bring the ASA campers on a picnic any more? Oh please say it isn't so!

Awww, man! Now I know I'm missing out on something! I want a picnic! They should do that for Special Sessions.

Well, that makes sense since that's right around the time they made the summer sessions a day longer. I mean, something had to go, time-wise, right?!
oh.

I thought the picnic was a great way for the team to spend some time together and just hang around before the end of the week. The hiking trails in the valley were very peaceful and refreshing; a nice change from the confinds of the Space Camp Campus. Things change as time passes; I can live with that.

We had a picnic the first year I went and it was one of the weeks that had an extra day. I wondered why we didn't have one last year though. Oh and Ben was one of my counselors the first year I went. That's why I was asking. Anyway when we (Katie and I) went back last year, neither of us recognized him, but he recognized us. It was really cool.
