Ok that clears things up. I was lucky to go once let alone 4 times and i couldnt have gone at all if not for my grandmother.

Well my mother got me into Space Camp and paid for the first time. Pretty much all the other 7 times my grandmother has paid for it or helped me in some way.

I understand, by the time my parents are done paying for school for my sisters and I there's not a whole lot of room for extra stuff. Last year it was my Christmas and birthday present and this year they're splitting the cost with me, and next year they'll pay what it costs for my sisters camp and then I'm on my own.

So are your sisters going to Space Camp or just some other camp or what? I have to pay in full for Space Camp now...

Well the last time i went i paid for half of the trip as well as for my transportation cost. But i didnt mind i wished i had a job 2 years earlier so i could have gone to Academy Level 2 instead of AC and been through the 8 day program but i still loved AC and ASA both.

I am trying to convince my grandmother to buy me a plane ticket to Christmas Camp for a Christmas present. I also want her to do the transportation fees, but I am not sure how willing she is to do that. Hopefully it will work out so that I can pay for Christmas Camp soon.

My sister's go to the same summer camp a lot of my friends and their friends go to. My parents said they'd pay for what it costs to go there to be fair, but I have to pay the difference.

I think I have proven time and time again how much of an addict I am. My mom gets really mad at me when I start talking about Space Camp because she knows between that and space that that is all I ever want to talk about. She forces me sometimes to bring something else up in conversation.

YAY! I beat you at something! Woo HoO! Actually, she almost wouldn't let me go to camp because I talked about it too much. She kept threatening not to let me go because I was yapping about it almost every minute, if not more often.

Did that slow you down from talking about it for a while atleast?

My family doesn't get mad at me, they just mock me till I get mad.

I know this is late but I just got on: I paid completly for my first year. Last year and this year my parents paid $800 Canadian and I have to pay for the rest.

How does Canadian convert to U.S.?

It changes all the time but right now it costs about $1.37 to buy one US dollar. When I payed for camp it cost a lot more.

That's too bad. What causes it to fluctuate so much?

The economy and interests rates. The us dollar changes as well. Every currency changes against other ones. Right now it's the US dollar that is really weak. I watch it to see how much American money I can get for camp.

I just stopped talking all together. I didn't know how to have a conversation without talking about Space Camp. I just sat in my room for about a week talking to people about Camp on AIM.
