I got to spend a week in hab 2 during the whole after 911 saftey thing. It is like a cave however much warmer than hab 1.

I spent a week in Hab 2 when i was there in 91 for space camp i hated it. I always wanted hab 2 because the rooms were smaller, less supervision and you didnt have to share a room with 30 people. Plus i was on the lower level that year it was really like living in a cave not a space station like they claim its supose to be like.

For my first and second year for early arrival I had to stay in Hab 2. It was awful. I had been up traveling since early in the morning and the stupid little kids would't shut up. And the door had to be left open so there was light in the room. Hab 2 is the worst.

You mean you wanted hab 1, right? Just checking...

Actually, I lost track of which is which.

But I had to stay in the crappy hab in the biggest of the big rooms (Orion) every year I did Camp... but it was alright, I guess. Different, though, and I much prefer hab 1 (that's the one where checkin is, right? like I said, I lost track). Oh, and another advantage of the good hab is there's never a line for showers, as opposed to the crap-hab, where there's only like 4 showers for like 200 campers... yeah, that always sucked.

Hmm. They don't look quite as triptastic as they do in real life. Of course, these pictures were taken with the camera inside the bubble part.

That would be AWSOME! my goal when i grow up is to marry some super rich guy and donate like 10 million dollars to space camp and aviation challeng so...! "Mabey someday your dream will become a reality.".... yes that is the inspirational quote of the day :D lol

ive already planned on doing that. i plan to make a donation so that someone can go to camp every year. the only stipulation: they have to have gone before and loved it.

yeah, its like once you talk your parents into paying for it, you have to get at least another 300 for tickets and 100 to spend.
