So Brent(the counselor) starts belting out( with all the musuem tourists watching) "take a bath, WASH YOURSELF! Take a bath, Show me watch your washing with!" (To the tune "shake that ass, watch yourself") It was really funny... the rest of the week all he did was make up songs about smelly people...
Did anyone go to camp August 3-9 2002?

It would seem that one of you has their 2001 date off then, no?

The date on my wings says August 10 and I still have my conformation letter that has the date of August 5-10. International camp was the week before and to my knowledge there was no team from August 3-8. It would have been an off week and there were already five teams for the time that I was there.

Does anyone have any funny stories involving duct tape?

One year, we were rather bord at one of the lectures (given by our councilor) and this kid kept annoying her so she grab some duct tape and tied his writs together and then covered his mouth. It was halarious. Then on the edm when he got space deminsia and we had to -tape- him down. We kinda..um...got a little over enthousiastic. He end up hog tied.
It was really funny.

Well i dont have any space camp duct tape stories but i have a friend who is the living embodiment of the saying that duct tape fixes anything because he uses it for everything.

Under funniest ASA moment I talk about duct tape. Another thing with duct tape was when we had leaks in the staton windows during the EDM. We couldn't find anything to cover the leaks so I said "Hey let's just duct tape them up" Our counsellor immediatly went "NO, duct tape doesn't solve everything" and then he gave us patches to cover the cracks with.

I cant think of anything, with maybe the exception of the space shuttle, that cant be fixed with duct tape. I have fixed my car with it. If it moves and it shouldnt duct tape it. If it doesnt move and it should use WD40. Those are words to live by.

True other than the space shuttle i dont know much that cant be fixed with duct tape. It also comes in handy for tying and gagging annoying people up. I wish we'd had some in our room the last night i was at ASA.
