I have a stylist's/model's dream hair: long, thick, and wavy. However, it is also my personal nightmare! Thus, as you will soon find out (in pictures from camp) I tend to wear my hair in braids, more braids, buns, and sloppy folded pony tails. Yup... it takes way too much work to leave my hair down - either 30 minutes with a hair dryer or a LOT of spray in junk to prevent the electrocuted look.
Okay... that's my bash my self image moment for the month...
My hair from 1998-1999 was super short due to a hairstyling nightmare - the wrong haircut. But it's back to the way I like it, as odd as that may seem. (I like braids...)

Yeah...... maybe when its actually grown out. I'm really having a bit of a hair identity crisis lol but i've decided that growing it out to my shoulders is who my hair wants to be. I dont know if that made sense cause its like 6:22 and i havnt actually been to bed yet.

My hair has led a very confusing life...
when I was little it was all stringy and long and then one day I decided a bowl cut was in order so i chopped it all off...
it stayed like that for a few years until i let it grow to ear length and it was layered and looked terrible..
now its a little longer than the length of my shoulders

i dont like my hair either, its like really curly and if i try to straighten it it gets all frizzy. so its pretty much always been a little longer than shoulder length and curly. not much variety.

in second grade, i cut my hair for the first time and got this really cute little kid cut. it was like kind of up to my ears with the very bottom on the back shaved. kind of stuck out cause i had thick hair. VERY cute with missing teeth. anyhoo, someone asked me if i was a boy or a girl. which anyone should know is very traumatizing when youre that age. ive never cut my hair shorter than like chin length since. even when i chopped it all of for locks of love.

If you knew how many times i've been called sir.... lol. I mean i know its not the most girly hair cut in the world but my facial features are not manly. I guess dont really have to worry about that anymore.

Oh my. It must look interesting by now. Well it was really a work of art within itself at camp so now it must be a masterpiece.

Funny how hair became a topic of conversation and actually lasted for more than a day...

A jump on topic...
I just remembered something else, a funny memory from five years back:
There was a footprint on the wall of our room painted in glow-in-the-dark paint. To honour this mysterious footprint, a bunch of us hung plastic glow-in-the-dark footprints in the corner of our rooms. I saw mine glowing last night and I was reminded of that...
Another Hab1 room story from six years back:
Someone from the week before us put a carton of chocolate milk in a vent in the ceiling of our room. Obviously, after a day or two, it went sour and the whole room, and those on either side of us, smelled of rotton chocolate milk. Lovely, in the middle of the summer too. Thankfully it happened the morning of EALD so we were switching rooms later that day... but oh my... rotton chocolate milk is a horrid smell...
Oh yes, and it is Canada Goose and Canadian Geese... (something from 1998)
