Vincent: Looks like we will not be using your photos. Sorry mate

We found a great poster in storage that we will be using instead. Thanks for all your efforts though, I really appreciate it!
On a completely different note, photography in itself. Does anyone know of some really spectacular photos one could take while at camp? I saw someone's website a while back, someone who had a high interest in photography and took an amazing photo of someone in the dark at MOCR. I'd like to try that if I could. I'd also like to try to capture some angles Richasi took, as well as a few ideas of my own.
Any photo ideas anyone would like to share? Any secret photo vantage points? Any amazing photos or ideas of amazing photos anyone can think of?
I am creating a list of photos I want to take while I am there. Things like Pathfinder lit up at night, MOCR, someone in the porthole of the UAT, the exterior of HAB 1, the airport, the map of rocket park, etc. I will probably need 10+ rolls of film for a week, but when it's most likely the last time I'll see the place, I'd hate to come home and go "I wish I took a picture of that" like I have done twice before.

Yeah... sometimes I have random memory flashes and think "I should take that exact image as a photo." Richasi took care of a lot of those for me, luckily... now I don't have to worry about remembering. However... someone told me of a really good photo... at like sunrise or sunset (whichever one works... I dunno the angles), apparently if you go up to that picnic area between the Pathfinder and Kid's cosmos (does anyone ever actually use that area?...), you can get a really nicely lit image of Rocket Park... I think someone told me that like 3 or 4 years ago... I have yet to try it.
Here's one

MNathaniel: I have definitely used that picnic area between Pathfinder and KidsCosmos. My first year at camp we were allowed to take our cafeteria food out there and eat, such that we brought all our dishes and trays back inside. I will check out that photo idea as you suggested when I arrive, both at sunrise and sunset. Vincet had another great photo of the AC lake at sunset - lovely!
ApolloXI: Unfortunatey, that photo link does not work for me.

Instead, knock off the last part of the URL and it works fine.
Vincent: I will not be using your two Pathfinder photos. I got a really good one from Marshall Space Flight Center. I found one at 130 KB and requested a high resolution version so I could print a poster. to my surprise they requested my FTP site and uploaded a 120 MB photo on there. Wow, the people at MSFC are great! (Now, let's hope the printers can handle such a large TIF file!)
And I thought 10 MB would be high resolution!!

120 megs! Whoa!!!! I would love to see an image that huge! Seriously, it is my dream to see the internet's highest-res image in existence, with crispiness even when you're looking at it where it's not shrunk or expanded, and can therefore only see a small portion of the photo... I just wish I knew where to look.

For those of you interested in the 120 MB file, you can see a preview at this URL:

If you want the link to download the 120 MB file, it will only be available until tomorrow, 07 May, at the latest. Please PM me if you want the FTP address.
