Great. I have to pick a week that has extremly hot and humid weather. I hate it when its really hot. Hopefully the weather is good for my week though.

Well Alabama gets alot of rain and that type of weather will up the humidity. And i wouldn count on low humidity this year the whole east coast and alot of the gulf coast states like Alabama have been getting alot of rain this year and we still are.

Yeah its very humid there in the summer. Some days we just had to stay inside when I did Academy and Camp in the summer. Oh and I love how you blame me for starting the voices convo! Okay okay only two more days of school left; I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. YAY!

Well I have Space Camp to look forward to at the end of the summer. The best part is that I have a job now. No that's not the best part, but at lesat my mother thinks I am useful now. Oh well, I am looking forward to actually making money for once.

I think I have one of everything from the gift shop. I like collecting the t-shirts though. Whenever they come out with a new style I feel compelled to buy it.

I remember when having a job was fun. then the first day ended but it did help me pay for ASA and buy lots of souvenirs and they even paid me for the week since i took paid vacation while i was at camp.

Well I am not going to make tons and tons of money. It is more of a thing so that my mom thinks I am useful and not a lazy bum, which I am. Its cool though because the kid likes to watch baseball and I can handle watching that.

Well tons of money was never something i got working in a grocery store either but it paid the bills and helped send me to ASa.

Well i'll ptobably try to get the flight jacket for christmas this year or i may just buy it myself sometime down the road. And i think i tracked down the one patch i need to make it appearto ba a veteran astronauts jacket. The Mach 25 patch that is given to every astronaut after they fly the first time. Its hard to find but i may have tracked down a vendor that sells atleast a reproduction of it.

yeah i like the tshirts too. im wearing a navy blue nasa one that says nasa in yellow now. my coach was trying to make me give it to him at practice cuz he lked it and he said it was too big on me..which it is becasue they didnt have any kids sizes when i was there. but oh well.spacecampaddict28 wrote:I think I have one of everything from the gift shop. my biggest problem with the gift shop is not having enough room to put everything i buy. and my poster got smushed a little

I am still thinking about modifying my flight jacket. I am not exactly sure what it is that I would do with it though.

Well if i get one i would put the mission patches on it that roughly match up with my space camp missions and hopefully the Mach 25 patch if i can get it. It would then look like a veteran astronauts jacket.

Well it would be cool to have an authentic looking flight jacket thing. I think I just want to ditch the space shuttle program patch and put something else there. Beyond that I am not sure what I am going to do.

Oh you cant get rid of the space shuttle patch. All the astronauts wear them on their flight suits or jackets at one time or another. Besides its the official program patch for the shuttle program.
