Well the apu prestart switches are on the R panel to the right of the pilot but they are nearly behind the seat if i rememner right which makes speed difficult.

The only switches I know are for fire and something else. Actually getting into those seats is hard and doesn't help you move any faster. Getting out of them is even harder for me at least.

Well I nearly killed myself just trying to get into those darn seats. You have to climb over switches and stuff.

Haha! Well if there is one thing I have learned from Hab1 is how to multitask. We are having about 6 separate conversations and I haven't even gotten out of the Hab Forum!

There are a couple of switches that are behind you where you have to almost completly turn around to see them. There are also a few overhead where you almost have to get out of the seat to reach them. By the second time of doing the APU I had it in about 30 seconds.

That must be why our Pilot and Commander had up switch some of their overhead switches. They couldnt reach them so they asked us to do it.

They're really hard to get. I can't believe that real astronauts do that sitting down and strapped in. You really can't understand how hard their job is until you are in their seat.

Believe me the pilots and commanders use switches on every panel of that flight deck. It's not an easy job but its fun if you dont mind stress. By the way i dont want to ever hear that i have no life again you guys make me look like an infrequent poster. I come back from eating gone less than an hour and there is a whole new page of posts on this topic alone.
