We had this one kid on my Space Camp team that I really and truely hated with all my might. He wasn't originally assigned to our team and was known to be a troublemaker on another team (UTC). I knew this because UTC and Martin Marietta were shared teams at night - meaning the night counselor had both teams (or they just paired up for some reason). By the second full day of Camp, the little runt is transfered to the Martin Marietta team and continues his antics. What's worse is that he was placed in my Hab 1 room because we had an empty bunk. I don't think I'll ever forget him as long as I live.

Well although we never really had any trouble makers on my team we had a similar thing happen twice at ASA. First our week started on wednesday so we were not on the regular schedule. Well their was a kid who graduated ASA that day and was going to go to AC the following week so they stuck him with our team till saturday when AC started taking early arrivals. He wasnt really a trouble maker he was just annoying and thought he knew everything since he had gone through the program the previous week. Well we were happy to get rid of him. Unfortunately he left open a bed in my room in hab 1. The last night at camp we had just finished our EDM and were all ready to get a good nights sleep since we were all exhausted. Well then they bring some kid in who was making trouble in his own room and stuck him in our room The kid was a little maniac and wouldnt shut up. We finnaly got him to shut up when we were about to stuff him in one of the lockers for the night and leave him their.

I guess you could have just sent him up to the 4th floor?

We didnt even think of that one. We were just too tired to listen to it that night after the EDM. Most nights we were always up talking about all kinds of stuff that night though we just wanted to go to bed.

Yeah, I remember that feeling well... "just wanting to go to sleep."

Well most nights we wanted to do anything but go to sleep. The days always went by too fast and we wanted them to last longer. But then thats the problem we all have at camp 24 hours a day just isnt long enough.

The only thing I dislike about Spcae Camp is having to leave and go home. It's too much fun at Space Camp to make you want to leave!!!

Every year i went i felt like that. I never knew if i would be going back from one trip to the next. Especially after my 96 trip which i was lucky to beable to afford. So going back that last time in 98 was great.

Now, now Kimberly (forgive the poor spelling if it is spelt incorrectly; although frankly I don't care)...
What do you think puts you in a position to post in a Space Camp Forum about how much you dislike Space Camp? It seems as though you've never been (and, hey, lucky for you, no one is forcing you to go). Don't you think it seems a bit juvenile to be putting down something we all apparently enjoyed without any legitimate reason for it? It seems to me that, even if you find your brother's stories irksome, you should bite your tongue and let him (and the rest of us) be happy because of a great experience we shared. What right have you to put us down? And why on Earth are you giving us all of these reasons why you wouldn't want to go? Are you trying to make us pity you and your motion sickness, or the fact that you have to hear about what a great time your brother had? Do you hold his joy against him? I think u (and I use that abbreviation out of spite) need to keep your qualms with your brother to yourself.
((Note: If any of this information has already been dealt with, then forgive my redundancy; I'm too lazy to read every single post.))
