Now that I think about it, having that kind of time might not necessarily be a bad thing. I like having time to relax every once in a while while I am at camp. I don't mind running around all day either. I especially like having lots of time to get ready in the morning and get ready for bed at night. Showering is always a good thing.

Well i had alot of freetime at ASa but it was mainly because of a combination of things. One the week was so hot it was sometimes dangerous to be outside so some outdoor stuff couldnt be done. Yhe other reason is some people on the team convinced our counselor to play cards instead of going to the museum and other stuff like that which i and most of the other team members woul have enjoyed. All the card playing still kind of makes me mad because i paid all that money to go to ASA not to play cards all the time.

The museum is cool. I have been in there a million times, but it never gets boring. Why play cards when you could be in a museum full of awesome stuff? I never have had any free time at ASA.

I wishi knew the answer to that but i get the impression it was due to the influence of one girl on the team whos parents made her go to camp and didnt really have an intrest in space. Unfortunately the counselor didnt take a vote. We had about 5 minutes in the museum heck i almost got left behind in there because i was looking around till i noticed there was noone else from the team around anymore and i found them over on the walkway that goes by the museum toward the main giftshop. And they were already saying we were going to go play cards instead. The other times it was due to the heat being too dangerous to be outside.

Well I can understand if it is too hot to be outside that you could play cards, but museum time is cool! I wouldn't play cards instead of going to the museum.

Neither would i but by the time i found out what was going on it was too late i dont know if they had voted or what but the counselor was convinced. I'd seen the museum before sure i'd love to have seen it again but who i really felt sdorry for were the people who hadn't seen it before and peobably wouldnt get to see it again.

Those are the people I'd feel bad for too.

Having talked to some of them since camp they weren't happy about it either.

I can understand. I never dreamed I'd be able to go back, but here I am 22 days away.

I know. I can't believe my luck. Two years ago I thought I would never go back but a month from now I'll be there again!

1 month and 13 days until I go back. And I come bearing gifts this time!!! YAY! WOO HOO! Oh and its SUMMER!!!!

every time i went i thought i probablt wouldnt be back unfortunately the last time i was right atleast so far anyway.

I have started to come bearing gifts whenever I go to camp. Counselors have started giving me stuff too, so its like an exchange. Last time I was there, Smiley got me a copy of Starcraft. So now, I am always bringing something.

What are you taking them this time? Might want to wait till you get here and see what you can find in the gift shop. i'm sure you can pick up another NASA shirt fopr yourself too.

Actually, I'm going to be taking a gift this time too. The difference is my gift is a birthday present.

You can never have too many NASA shirts.

Well i'll warn the giftshop to be ready to be bought out on the 20th.

I'll have to be saving myself some money. I get a little gift shop happy but most likely I won't have as much money on me as I normally do.
