It's about an 8-10 hour drive depending on traffic in Louisville and Nashville. The combination of Dramamine and Benedryl works really well.

I take Dramamine to help me sleep while I am in the car. But the thing is that if I ever drive there again, I will have to do it by myself and thats 10 hours. I don't think I will be taking any Dramamine.

I would rather fly than drive any time. Its faster and its fun to fly.

I like flying better, too. It is also much safer.

I would rather fly too, but it's either $60 for three tanks of gas, or $280 for a plane ticket.

True driving is always going to be cheaper unless you have a gas guzzler for a car.

Not only is it coming from Canada, but I live in western Canada so I'm pretty much on the opposite side of the continent from Space Camp.

Well yeah that wouldn't help either. Even only a 10 hour or so drive it is from here is bad i wouldnt want to do it again.

Well I have a 10 hour drive too, and its not high on my list of things that I want to be doing. I get great gas mileage and it would be cheaper and everything, but it takes soooo long.

Well i must have underestimated the driving time from here then i probably should have added a couple of hours atleast to that.

You probably should have considering that I live 10 hours away from camp and to drive to where you live will take me about 4 hours from my house.

I wish my parents would let me fly, but that doesn't look like it's in the near future.

Why won't they let you fly?

My parents don't really have a choice. But now since it is my third time and I'm 18 it doesn't bother them.

Well I have to drive if I don't pay for my airline ticket. I don't think I could drive myself 10 hours without passing out driving down the highway. The prices for airfares these days are crazy, but I really have no choice if I want to go to camp.

I honestly have no idea why he won't let me fly, I even offered to pay for it. I think he actually likes going down there and spending time in the museum.

Well this is the USSRC Museum we're talking about. Who wouldn't want to go spend time in it? I can't get enough of that place. Does he just stay at the Marriott?

Well when my dad returned to pick me up from camp he had no desire to go through the musem even though they let the families in free after graduation. I was so excited to show them what i'd been doing all week and he really didnt care which kind of made me mad.

The time my mom came to graduation she didn't want to see all of it, but I made her do it anyway. I gave her a tour of the hab and then the TCF and the museum. She seemed bored out of her mind the entire time, but I tried not to pay attention to that.
