There are rules about food in the Hab, but people eat it anyway. They put the wrappers in the ceiling.

I remember the last time i went they had a rule that made no sense to me. They told us we could eat or drink up in our rooms but not on the first floor of the hab for some strange reason. I thought it would be the other way around.

I thouyght so too but thats whatv they told us during one of our free time periods when were stuck inside because of the heat. They told us to either go outside under the shade or we'd have to go back up to our room.

Well what I was told many times is that you can only eat on the colored thingies at the end of each stairwells and by the doors of the Hab. You cannot eat in your room, nor can you eat anywhere else in the Hab.

Well i guess things have changed but that does make more sense. We always ate in our room though and never had anyone get on us about it.

Well we were eating in our rooms and the counselors didn't care. I guess they would care when the bugs came, but that's about it. Joel really cares though.

Well it still made no sense to me why the rules were like that back then but thats what they told us. Infact ussualy if i had time before bed i took a soda up to my room at night and noone cared.

The only time I have gotten away with taking food up to my room in no secretive manner is when I was sick the last night I was at camp this Spring Break. I got Arlisa to let me get water from the Ward Room and I took it upstairs to the fourth floor.

I usually kept a bottle of water in my room. We snuck a ton of food upstairs one night and then just sat around and ate it and talked. We just threw the wrappers away in the trash can and no one ever said anything. My mom and Katie's mom sent us "care packages" during the week that had food in them and the counselors didn't seem to care.

I'm sure its poretty easy to get away with food in the rooms because i guess they have some kind of cleaning staff that actually emptys the trash cans i'm sure its not the counselors.

Yeah, it is. I love the cleaning staff. I've never met any of them, but the bathrooms are so clean.

You can sometimes see the cleaning staff if you are up putting something away or something during the middle of the day in the Hab. I say hi to them because I agree, the bathrooms are rather clean.

I guess i've just never been in the habv when they were for whatever reason. I know when i went to Ac they relied on the trainees to do alot of the cleaning. We had what was called duty flight a diffrent squadron had it each day and it was basicly the team had to clean up the classrooms and bathrooms as well as empty the trash cans in the rooms.

We had to empty our own trash cans.
