Yes, okay it makes more sense. But I would still want to hang out with campers and whatnot the first night as I always do.

the one time i arivd early and stayed late i actually enjoyed the dtaying late better then the arriving early. Although that might be because i was nervous about being at Ac instead of camp. But either way if i were foinf to arrive early or stay late id stay in the hab.

This year I arrive at 11pm the night before which makes me mad. I wish I got in earlier. I don't leave until 3pm the next day though.

Well the one time i got there early it was around 8:30 or so thats just an estimate since it was getting dark at the time and it was July. However when i left a day late i had to get up at 5 am which i really hated. except for getting to watch the sunrise at the airport with a hot counselor. :D

I always get there at around 2 the day before and leave around 3 the day after.

Well i didnt have those times to arive and leave by choice my dad was the one who mad the airline reservations. I dont think he realised just how long ahead of time they make you go to the airport when your leaving though.

Yes, they made me go like 3 hours before my flight that left at 12. I was sooo sleep deprived after a week of camp already, and that didn't help.

I think it use to only be 2 hours but now airports want you there a minimum of 2 hours before your flight with the tighter security so i guess space camp increased it.

Well the Huntsville Airport isn't very big and there usually aren't too many people in it, but missing your flight would be bad.

Try having to spend 6 hours in that airport when your flight gets canceled and you have to wait for another one. That happened to me when i was a tourist.

My flight from San Juan got delayed nine hours once. Oh man that sucked. I have never had traveling issues with Space Camp though.

My dad is characteristically late for flights. They made a new rule that you had to check in 60 min. before your flight. He got there 59 minutes before. They couldn't do anything because the computer locked them out. They booked him on another flight on another airline. Because of that, he had a one way ticket. The security check made him miss the flight. He eventually got there, though.

I've never had a problem traveling because we've always driven to Huntsville. We go down the day before and stay at a hotel not too far away and then I check in really early and get my choice of beds! That is always a good thing.

My dad drove me down and back the first year i went and though it was nice to have him and my brother at graduation i wouldn't want to do it again. It was just a long drive. Although there were some good things that happened along the way but thats personal and i wont get into it here.

Well what made the trip worse for me was having to share the back seat with my brother all the way.

I've only driven once and I don't want to do it again. 12 hours in a car is just too much for me. I did have one kid on my team that drove from south Texas and it took him 24 hours by car to get there.

If I drove it would be at least 4 days if not more if we stopped each night and drove all day.
