Yeah, don't get too excited about good old flight/capcom/cdr/plt positions. They're really different for 8day.

cool...well i would think that they would be different b/c the mission's longer
flying is fun tho...hey do the pilots during 8 day get to fly the sims at AC b/c i want to see how different they are from really flying

Yes they do! Im thinking about being a pilot. I am not sure how that would work because Ive never been a pilot but maybe thats cool yeah?

Sara! Thats just wrong in every sense of the word! Wow that would be scary. You, me and megan all as pilots? I cant imagine that being safe in any way.

wow i didn't know that pilots get to scuba too! does that take the place of flying the sims or does everyone do both?

The pilots Scuba and do the Sims...the MSs just Scuba...
I dont know if I want to switch because then there would be like way more than 8 pilots and we wouldnt all fit on one team.

They let me dive when I had an abnormally low temperature. (I think it was 96.4 or something, and they checked it twice!) You should be fine. Why would you be scared to go SCUBA diving? Fill in the forms, send them in, and then you can choose when you get there. It's heaps fun, so enjoy!
Do they use an ear thermometer in Sick Bay yet? The under-the-tongue ones hurt! (Although the little plastic cover things are fun to chew on...)

i love diving....it's so much fun! i'm so excited that pilots get to dive..wahoo!!!!
