im pretty sure that there still are anomalies. i don't think they would take that out. and if they do, edm won't be half as fun. plus, with the 24 hour one, what would we do? :wink:

as far as the defacing the pennies...the silver rubs off...my first year, my friend and i made some extra ones to take with us to the penny machine thinking it would be REALLY cool to have a silver penny with an orbiter on it, but it rubbed off in the paper towels before we got to the machine. but, shhhhhh, we didn't steal money from camp! :twisted:

PS isnt that bad really. It was actually quite fun, especially in MOCR. It was the only time i have ever *wanted* to stay in MOCR for the EDM. And i got to extract the iron from total (the cereal) which totally amazed me....

That's cool. Sounds like something I might enjoy, but like I said, I LOVE the PLT track. What can I say, I'm a control freak?

<sigh of relief>
I must have read some misinformation earlier. I was a little confused why they would remove medical anomolies because they were one of the best parts of the EDM!

that's okay lindsey, im a control freak too!!! we can be ones together. but if we get to go to camp together, that might not work...lol.

i, too, am glad the anomalies aren't leaving. that was the coolest part. brent kept giving me them and everyone was getting sick of me screaming in pain. i think he gave me like three different ones and two were continuous. and then the smart people in my group didn't fix me for a while so brent made me get worse and worse. every time he called me over my mocers got more and more livid. to make matters worse, jinx was there to do that research thing. it was kinda funny. as long as im not the one having to deal with it. after i got sick though, the famous power failure occurred and we had a hurricane (in texas may i add) and mocr was screwed up. so two out of the four people were damaged and there were like 20 lights going off. i tried to fix them before i gave up (brent didn't tell me that they all should have backup cws so i was treating all 19 without the backup cw till he informed me otherwise) and started spinning in my chair. they should put the psychological ones back in!!!!! fun fun fun!!! :D

HAHA....Brent gave us a tornado in MOCR during our EDM we were out in the hall in "tornado position" for like 15 minutes. When we got back in like 4 out of the 6 people in MOCR were injured, half the computers had been turned off, the medical book and meds couldn't be found, headsets were unplugged, chairs were taken apart and there were like 9 lights on. I got on the headset with the crew in the orbiter while the other non-injured person took care of the rest of our MOCR crew. When I started talking to the pilot and commander they told me that they started out with like 15 lights and were solving the problems themselves (they were both returning trainees so they had a general idea of what to do). It was sooooo much fun though. Oh yeah, and I was trying to sove station lights at the same time.

Yeah we did too. I think we eventually found the medical book in the ceiling or some place high like that (we were all pretty short).

So they have taken out the psychological anomolies? I knew they took out something...

Nope the psychological ones were still there last summer. It seems like they did take something out though. I remember them saying something about we couldn't have medical anomolies during the one hour missions. Could we before?

no, you can't have medical anomalies on the one hours. only buzzers. and they did take out the psychological ones due to someone going crazy. literally. theres a whole story behind it, and im not exactly sure what it was. but for safety reasons, they took them out.

That's odd. Last summer one of the girls on our team "went insane" and thought that she was the Crocodile Hunter.

weird, cause when i was there last summer, they wouldn't allow us to have them because someone went crazy and a physical fight broke out (i think) something like they were punching each other and one got seriously injured...i think brent allowed us to have a few smaller ones at christmas. i don't know if he was being fun, or if they have officially brought them back. but i know safety was the reason they stopped having them.
