Thank you. There was a hockey game last night and I almost made a bad tie-in to the Bolts striking, but I decided against it.

Alan Shepard and Pete Knight were born on this day (18 ov Nov.) in history. Also, Mickey Mouse was introduced to the world 75 years ago in "Steamboat Willie," the first cartoon to feature sound. Kennedy was killed on Mickey's 30th. The 19th is Eileen Collins' b-day.

Jim Wetherbee turns 51 today. He celebrated his 50th on orbit on Endeavour, STS-113.

Today is Steven MacLean's b-day. He is a Canadian astronaut who has flown twice on the shuttle and has had two flights cancelled, STS-71F (cancelled after STS-51L) and STS-115 (an ISS assembly mission which had been scheduled for May 2003). Tough luck, but it could be worse.
