There are two computer labs aren't there? Alpha and Bravo I think....yeah thats really weird that you didn't know that considering that the Astronomy thing is done on the computers.

I knew they had a lab, but I've never been in there. The only time I used a computer in camp was a few years ago in Academy when we did this thing in one of the portables. I remember choosing country music as my crew's wake-up call, but that's it.

Astronomy thing?

What astronomy thing? I don't remember doing any astronomy thing... I do know, however, that they changed around a lot of the layout of Hab 2 (for instance, getting rid of the two girl's bays and turning them into classrooms!! OMG!), so it's possible they used to be somewhere else?? I know we didn't do any astronomy thing in a computer lab this year... and it's possible last time (with Tereshkova) we skipped it (we skipped a lot with Colin...), and I just don't have a good enough memory to remember before that... But being the computer addict I am, I would think I'd remember a computer lab...
*sigh* Anyone know where it was in 2001 and 2000?

Well the lab, to the best of my knowledge, has been there for quite some time. After Optics you are supposed to do this astronomy thing. Its a quiz you take on the computers in the lab.....

Luckily for us, optics "broke" the day we did it, so we just didn't do it at all!

optics fun with Becky D!

I thought Optics was pretty cool with Becky - though I heard one of our groups who had Katina for it, didn't like it as much... But Becky made it really fun (I thought...)... It's all about realizing that you're frying an ant with a magnifying lens!!

We couldn't find like half the stuff for optics so we only did the lecture part of it.

Burning Ants!

Aww, that's too bad - the best part is frying the hell out of the "ant" (aka a thin lens with a star sticker on it), and blinding the people who sit at the wrong end of the "telescope"

I was always that weird kid in Elementary School that fried Ants and Leaves on the playground with other people's glasses!

I had it with Jason and I was the only one there so we finished fast and then went and watched the training center floor from the coprate classroom and then to the computer lab.

During the spinoff activity did anyone on your teams put on the swimsuit. A guy on my team did. Then he jumped on Becky and scared her.

Speaking of crazy people Carlos asked my teammates once and a while during training mission to bring hime prozac from the first aid med bin. Plus I think all of you want with Sara need to be tested for a new virus Sarawackyheadbaaaa. I know I am not infected

In oberth 42, everyone had come with someone else, and only three people hadn't been ever before, and at least three people had been more than twice... So we pretty much knew a lot of things... Although, for the why space briefing (which was scheduled twice for us... go figure!), some people didn't remember which was which... But it was still funny, listening to the stories for some of them... I still like the one about the Monkeys that Becky D told us afterwards...

There was me, who had previously been 7 times, and also a kid that had been 9 times, and two people that had been 3 times. It was a very interesting week.
