Dang, like I am ever going to be in one of those. I don't like the bays anyway. I was in Andromeda when I was a tiny baby camper way back in the day and I didn't really like it at all.

Hab 2 is not used for camp anymore. When I was there they had it all switched around. Hab 2 is now used for Pathfinder and Astrotrek. The girls dorms were changed into classrooms.

I never liked Hab2 bays anyway. I am thankful, even though I rarely find myself sleeping in Hab2 with the exception of EALD.

Dumb people
I think that people have the right to have thier opions but the moive Capricorn One is a joke look what i found on http://us.imdb.com/Title?0077294. Also in a article on http://www.space.com/missionlaunches/st ... 30728.html a woman belives the movie to the fully and thinks the space progarm is a sham. ""I think it's all bogus," said Claudette Davidson of Jonesboro, Ga., who does accounting work for physicians. ``I just do not believe they've gone to the moon. I saw Capricorn One," she said, referring to a 1978 movie that featured O.J. Simpson and included a faked trip to Mars. "That did it for me."
Plot holes: For much of the flight, and in particular during the launch when the astronauts have not yet been informed of the deception, we're told their voices from the spacecraft are simulated by recordings that were made during the practice simulations. This trick would stop working as soon as anything was said to them requiring a reply that had not occurred in the simulations, or as soon as they had any quiet time and would naturally be expected to chat about their present experience.
Incorrectly regarded as goofs: While there should be a 20 minute delay for conversations between Earth and "Mars," the real-time conversation between the astronauts and their wives takes place before they are that far away.
Miscellaneous: Lear Jet Pilot Clay Lacy appears twice in the closing credits.
Factual Errors: A title card at the beginning of the film indicates it is January 4. An onscreen announcer lists the time as three minutes after six, Eastern Daylight Time. Daylight Time normally doesn't begin until April.
Incorrectly regarded as goofs: Several times during the Mission Control scenes, references are made to "the LM crew," although we know the LM as the "Lunar" Module. But just as the real-life NASA renamed the Vertical Assembly Building in the space shuttle era to the Vehicle Assembly Building, keeping the initials, so on a Mars flight they might reuse the initials LM with a meaning such as "Landing Module."
Continuity: When the threesome crash land in the desert after escaping the compound, Brubaker tells Walker to go north, and Willis to go south and he will continue west. After he says this, Walker heads south and Willis heads north.
Continuity: After their westbound plane crashes in the desert, Brubaker tells Walker to head north (which would be to the right when looking west) and Willis to head south (to the left). Walker goes to the left and Willis to the right (Brubaker to the west, straight ahead). This contradiction is reinforced after Walker is caught, supposedly heading north, and Kelloway tells the searchers to search west and south only.
Continuity: Following the helicopter/plane chase, after the two government choppers crash into the cliffs, the crop-duster is seen turning right, and flying away. In this shot, one of the government helicopters can be seen flying behind the plane, in the lower left foreground.
Crew or equipment visible: After Robert Caulfield and Kay Brubaker sit down on the sofa for their second interview, someone's shadow moves behind Kay.
Continuity: After crashing in the desert, Brubaker tears off the left leg of his overalls at the knee to make a headband. In later scenes, the fabric has come back, and his leg is covered. So is his head.
Crew or equipment visible: Just before the launch, as a man in a black suit walks across the capsule gantry to open the door and tell the astronauts to "come with me", a crewmember is visible. As the man is opening the capsule door, a crewmember's bare arm is clearly visible on the left helping him open the door. The man is wearing a black suit and the crewmember lending assistance is clearly bare-armed.
Continuity: While Caulfield's car is in the air after running off the supposedly raised bridge, other cars can be seen driving on the same bridge.
Revealing mistakes: When the Learjet crashes, three trails of dust are visible (i.e. the landing gear)

you know, I think you're right, they do seem smaller without the beds... Although my group had to help turn Sagitarius back into a boys bay for one night because there were too many people, and they needed somewhere to stick the little boys... But then we didn't know where we were supposed to have our lecture, because it was supposed to be in Sag...

It did seem smaller. It was really weird. The boys locked Greg in a locker and taped Nicks mouth shut. It was funny.spacecampaddict28 wrote:Is it just me or do the rooms look smaller without beds in them? i have stayed in andromeda for camp camp and taurus for EALD so many times. I had never been in one of the former girls' dorms until we went into one of them for Space Bowl at my last ASA... I never knew they weren't dorms anymore... and someone said that hab is for Astrotrek and stuff now? That explains the mysterious Camp kind walking around in my Hab in the mornings...
The less time spent in Orion Bay, the better.
