I HAVE that shirt! cool...i wore it to school today...i wore my nasa shirt on friday...i have 14 space shirts...i pick one for each day...but yeah i have that shirt and people laugh at me about it..i also wear one of my three ASA shirts on occassion

When I went to the USSRC over spring break I wore my ASA shirt mainly b/c it was one of the few I had clean and I got a few wierd looks and questions from counselors.

I thought about. A few of the academy kids also gave me wierd looks after I'd done the shuttle landing simulator for like the fifth time.

haha well i love the landing simulator...i love SPACE CAMP! i wear my asa shirt all the time...i am cool

when i was at camp, i crashed on the landing simulator. My teammates were giving me a hard time b/c I was supposed to land the shuttle during the mission the next day.

its okay....we uh...landed with our payload bay doors open and on our ssme's once

we almost landed with our payload bay doors open during the edm. I don't remember what we did to fix it though b/c I was trying to keep up with all of the checklists.

We have the same shuttle landing simulator at the museum here i'm verry good at it. When it works.

I was surprised over spring break how much everything had changed. I think the USSRC is going to be a lot better once they get the new exhibits open and of course all the simulators in the museum working.

I have the "I Need My Space" T-shirt too!! It's my favorite!!!!!!

Those Need My space shirts are becoming popular and aparently several visitor centers sell them. I know KSC also sells the shirts althoyugh our visitor center here isnt selling them but i wouldnt be suprised if they get them.

We landed on our SSME's, too. Another group (maybe yours?) landed on the wrong runway (Kennedy 15 instead of 33).

I was one of the only pilots on our team that hadn't been their before, so we usually let the more experienced ones do it.

I've always wanted to be a commander, but I usually end up as Flight (where nobody ever listens to me). I was pilot once for a short ASA mission.

I was commander for one of the short missions. During the EDM we swiched half-way through so I was flight for the first half and pilot for the second.

Well my team decided or i should say our counselor decided that only the space station and shuttle could change during the EDM. I wanted commander but pilot was ok. So for the EDM i was Station ops 2 for the first half of the EDM and Pilot for the second half of the EDM personally i like the idea of only being able to switch between shuttle and station because its a little more reaslistic. Its hard to go from mocr to space during a real space mission.

We didn't have enough people to even put anyone in the station. There were also some issues when we were assigning positions for the EDM among the pilots.

Well in that case i guess its ok. I was suprised how easy it was to pick who did what on our team for the EDM. I guess i have to atribute that to how close we were as a team. With our pilots 2 girls wanted to do mocr so the other 4 of us just picked whod take what half wear based on how we thought we did in each half of our previous time on the shuttle so it was easy. And the MS's and Ps's didnt seam to have any problems deciding either.

There was a fight among our pilots too! One girl say she would be Flight and then we got everything sorted out but then another girl said it should be changed so she fought to change it. We had everthing fine until she got all upset. The counselor ended up chooses the commander for launch because that was the position being fought for by two people.
