Not to sound mean or anything, but I think you have to be a U.S. citizen to qualify. At least, I think I remember that being on the application. Sorry!

Well I think you have to be here a certain length of time to be able to be a citizen.

You can be a resident of the U.S. without being a citizen of the U.S.

I dunno about that, but to become a citizen, I think your parents have to live in the US as legal residents for 5 years.

Here's what the website says:
· Be a U.S. citizen or national* who will be at least 16 years old by the time the program starts in June.
* A “national of the United States” is a citizen of the United States or a native resident of a possession of the United States. It does NOT refer to a citizen of another country who is a U.S. permanent resident. U.S. permanent residents are not eligible for the program.

Okay well from that I am gonna infer that you have to be a citizen of the United States to do SHARP. I think Canadians should be able to as well....they are so close by.

I agree, but seeing as how it's a government funded program I can see why.

Uh huh. You know Canada has its own states (territories?). I've been to several myself.

I would like to take this moment to point out the very awesome yet often underutilized
