Hmm... I have no idea where this capture the flag course is...
Cool though on the details... they make sense.

Capture the flag is in that field area down by AC... Sorry, that was a terrible description.

Has anyone figured out how they plan to move it? High voltage power lines to the West, a hill to the South, woods to the North and the rockets/museum to the East.
Aslo, it will need a road to support the weight.

They are going to drive it down Tranquility Base.

I know USSRC's address is One Tranquility Base, and the Mariott hotel is something like 5 Tranquility Base. So, is Tranquility Base the road behind the Saturn V, the road to AC, or something else?

Tranquility Base runs from the USSRC's west parking lot where the giant sign/standing Saturn V is, past the new Educator Resource building and the Marriott until it curves onto the freeway overpass.

That would have been my second guess. Thanks Who!
I love this webcam. It is like being back in Rocket Park every time I look at it.

Indeed... it's so awesome to watch! I hope they don't take it down when the project finishes...

Oooh... They have moved the restoration 'tent' from the first stage up to the second stage. Lovely... I can't wait to see the rest of the Saturn V after it has been restored. I would love to see it in person, but that will have to wait another few years.

If this webcam is still operational in April we might catch a glimpse of the moonbuggy race! Hurrah!
Yes, I know how weird I am.

Lucky too, the moonbuggy race was almost cancelled forever..

why?

By reading the articles Vincent links to on the Hab1 homepage, it was cancelled (and later brought back) due to a lack of funding and support. Thankfully, it is back and hopefully it will stay.

It looks like our plea to have the webcam cleaned and re-focussed has been answered. Thanks!

Being the Nerd I am, I will be watching the webcam closely on Friday to try and get a glimpse of the Great Moonbuggy Race. I don't have interent at home, so I won't get to see all the races, but those of you who do should watch them!

While I was at Sprocket during training, I mentioned the dirty camera to Matt Green, the AM on weekends because he was running one of our outdoor trainings - maybe he mentioned it to maintenance or something...

Please fix the webcam. (again)
Over the past few days it has gone fuzzy and/or out of focus.
Thanks!
