Huntsville in the Fall?

I knew all the museum questions in Space Bowl. I knew more than a kid on my team that lives in Huntsville. unfortuently i wasn't up for those questions. I also kick but in the museum hunt. For at least 3/4 of the questions I either know it or have a good idea of it. For the rest I know where most of the answers are.

My parents and teachers think I have a semi photographic memory because a lot of times I may not remember what it is, but I can remember the layout of the page and the pictures and everything around it. I also read geometricly.

Well history is my best subject especially space related history. Although i also try to keep up with current events in space exploration.

On the museum hunt, I knew all of the answers without looking except for 3. There were 50 questions total. My counselor kept making us walk away to where it was or just walk away so that it looked like we were hunting in the museum.

Same with mine. We had to go to the Mercury capsule and tehn back before we could answer and Michelle was sitting by the Mars ride. I'd have the answer before the rest of my team even got a chance to look at it. There were only a few that I had to look for. We kicked butt.

Well wjen i went i didnt have to do amuseum search but then i hardly got to see the museum that last time either. I probably could have answered most if not all of the uestions without going through it anyway though.

Well the only ones I had to look for involved dates that I was unsure of. I have been through the museum so often though that I know where to find everything anyway.

Well just something in the museum that relates to the museum you are about to visit is the mercury procedures trainer you may or may not have noticed it has Langley Research center stenciled on the side of it. thats because it was used here when the mercury astronauts trained here in the 50's and 60's.

Yep, I never realized that I guess. Of course, prior to talking to you, I didn't really know what the Langley Research Center is.

Well when you come visit you'll learn alot more about Langley and its history.

Well I have probably noticed that it was on the thing, but I never recognized it as anything special. I have seen many times, I guess I just never paid that close attention to it.

Haha, well I am sure Jason will tell me all about Langley and then some whether I want him to or not. Don't feel bad Jason, I have the same problem. I babble on about space to anyone and everyone!

Well if i dont concentrate on the Langley side of thingsa youll get another general space history lecture so i think you should take what you can get. Langley has alot of space history manned and unmanned.

Yeah okay I don't want a repeat of the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Shuttle histories like you get at camp. The counselors actually gave up on making me listen to them and I went and got ice cream during the Space History part.

LOL, the sad thing is that it is true. Usually when I am at camp, I try and break all of the rules. I am usually successful about it and no one ever really tries to tell me anything different. I did have a counselor once let me teach Apollo so I didn't look quite so bored out of my mind.

LOL....you know you've been a few times when you can sit there and predict exactly what the counselor is going to say.
