Well that is better than me...I have two minutes between each class. But at least we have an hour for lunch/clubs. But trust me, two minutes is not enough time to even walk across the hall to your next class. Luckily all my classes are near each other or all I have to do is walk up some stairs and turn a corner.

Well in college sometimes you need 15 minutes because classes are often across campus. I do get to eat on test days though because it never takes me the whole time to finish a test.

I always finish tests early. I have finished all of my finals with plenty of time to spare. I finished my 2.5 hour chem final in 1.5 hours and I even finished my history final with 30 minutes to spare and it was an all essay exam.

I'm real fast with tests, too. I had to take the FCAT Writes! to meet my benchmarks. It is really a worthless state test that doesn't measure anything except the best way to waste the state's money. I spent about two minues on the essay (topic: Should athletes who are failing be able to participate in school sports?) and the rest of the time writing a song (to the tune of Gilligan's Island) about how I was stuck in school (this was on the scratch sheet, it wasn't graded).

So do you just write whatever you want about the essay topic or what? Is there no real necessary format to have. At least my school only makes us take these weird tests for their records and to see how we are doing as a student through 10th grade. I just got done with those a couple of months ago and I am so happy that I don't have to take them again.

No, we have to use the five-paragraph format. We must have one thesis paragraph, three paragraphs about the topic, and one conclusion.

That gets boring after you have done it a million times. Thank god I don't have to do anything like that for the state of NC. But the format is much like that of my history exams. Thank god those are over for the next few months. WOO HOO!

I am just trying to escape the five paragraph essay. Anything else would be fine.

We have to do the 5 paragraph essay and the 10 sentence format.

If you take a college writting class in college and you most likely will have to you will see that format again.

Oh well that makes me sad because I just want to get rid of it. I am sick of writing like that even though it is incredibly easy.

Well none of my professors say you absolutely have to use that format but it tends to fit the papers for some reason.

Well it fits for lots of stuff which is probably why we use it so much and practice it.

There is a whole big long section on our ISTEP tests that is all writing and we have to use that format too.

I am sooo happy that they quit with those things after 10th grade so we can at least only worry to death about SATs and stuff.

I took the SAT's this year just for practice. So I took like 3 standardized tests. ISTEP, PSAT, SAT.
