Advice
A good piece of advice for first timers is take your camera with you anywhere you go with the exception of maybe the pool or the scuba tank. I usually put my camera way before dinner and i missed some great picture oppurtunities. Their were a couple of nights when we were waiting to go into a class room up by the scuba tank and missed a shot looked like it was staged in hollywood. Right out the window you could see the Saturn 1 and right next to the escape tower was a full moon. Would have made a great shot just wish i'd had my camera available.

Yes film is good!!! the first year i went i brought my camera and unfortunatly the battery died on the second day i was there!! Last year though i got lots of pics of me and my friends cause one of them was as good with a camera as i was (pretty good) And so we took pics for each other of us on the sims. It was cool and then i got a whole bunch of pics of enterprise cause it was really cool. I also recommend that you get a cheap waterproof camera for lake activities and if you do the scuba anytime except last then you get to swim at the top of the tank so you could take pics then!! Not essentially but really cool if you are a big fan of pictures.

Be careful though. The last time I went, I got one of those kodak disposable underwater cameras...I got some pictures taken underwater of me at the UAT, but none of them came out!
I sent off the negatives to kodak to make sure nothing had been wrong with the camera (they can tell from the negatives, I guess)
...I got back a reply that said their wasn't enough light and that's why they didn't come out...though it looked plenty bright underwater.
...just a word of caution.

I'm not going to take it all the way down, just probably at the top of the tank. They're not suppose to go down really far under water.

If you plan on buying lots of stuff at the spaceshop, either bring a bigger suitcase or leave room in your suitcase. You'll run out of room really fast!!!
