The cost depends on what college or university you go to. A community college can be cheap as about 800-900 dollars for a semester. a university gets alot more expensive.

UAH is around $15 000 (out of state tuition and board) a year. I could keep my current job and afford to go to my local university (University of Memphis), a good school but kinda lacks in the engineering degrees and doesn't offer aerospace engineering as a major. So I want to go to UAH but i need to find a way to afford it.

thats what i want for a major too. im still a junior though. were looking at florida tech and embry riddle tho. were going to visit both this summer.
have you considered the airforce or anything?
i talked to an airforce recruitor a month or so ago. they have a lot of programs that can help you pay for college, if you give back to them. the rotc program offers good scholarships if you can win one.

Well there are alot of scholarships out there and there is also federal financial aid available you just have to start applying and try to get some. They have scholarships for just about anything these days. Don't even nesecarily need good grades for them. But try to avoid student loans if possible unless you want to be paying them off for the rest of your life.

I'm actually considering going to the Air Force Academy. It sounds hard to get in though, you have to be nominated by a congressperson or the vice president.

Actually unless you are the son/daughter of a POW /MIA i believe it has to be a congressperson that nominates you. And it hasto be one from your state. I have a friend in her second year at the air force academy who is also an ASA graduate and a friend at Embry Riddle University.
