There hasn't been a single day I've been to school that I haven't had a math class!

After so many years, it kinda bums me out!

...but my favorite classes have been my computer science ones.

i used to hate math, until i realized it was merely a tool for use in science. Now I love math and science just about equally

I personally LOVE the sciences currently i am taking Chemistry and Food Science which is really dumb but thats beside the point. I really like math but i kinda have a mental block cause i didnt actually learn any math untill about 3 or 4 years ago (im currently in Advanced Algebra). But i am also fond of my sign language class and advanced composition class which is pretty fun. lol i was probably just supposed to pick one subject wasnt i? lol oh well!

No school...

Post by Benji »

I have something that might interest y'all: Online school. I sit at home all day and I get twice the work done in half the time since I don't have to deal with all the BS of regular school. For more info: http://www.sptimes.com/2002/09/13/Cityt ... as_w.shtml

As for classes, I'm not great at math or foreign languages.

Yeah online classes are great. Most colleges and universities offer them too. I took all the ones my college offered that i could take without prerequisites but now i'm out of online ones and going on campus.

Insult to "Cold War Generation" and Space Camp

Post by ApolloXI »

 I had one of the dumbest sub. teacher ever. He was born in the "Cold War" era and thought that he chould out smart a Space Camp trainee about space (He saw my sweat shirt and didn't say anything). He thought that he knew about space travel. Que1: What was the first disater for NASA? He said Apollo XI was the one that burned up instead of Apollo I. Que2: Sputnik was lanched in what year? He said 1959, but it was 1957. Que3: How many Apollo missions where there? He said 20, but only 17. Que4: What was the first landing on the moon with a crew? He said Apollo XII, but is Apollo XI. Que5: Why and how did Von Braun join NASA. His answer he was captured on rocket site. Real reason he and his team knew that if the Russian captured them they would be tortered. So they fled thier labs and went to the America and Axis frontline. If I have this sub again I think that I may have to skip that class.
Von Bruan sorce is Space Camp Throttle Up! and a NASA Triva book.

Reminds me of the woman who came into the Viurgini air and space center and no matter what the sigs said or the signatures on the side of the capsule said she was convinced the Apollo 12 CM was apollo 13.

I think it's our responsibility as space enthusiasts to set the record straight! Good for you!

BTW, my favorite subject was physical anthropology. I still see myself in a dirt pit somewhere with a tiny pick and toothbrush!
