The light thing is one of many new things that will be hopefully implemented over the next few years. Yes I said years. These types of transformations take time in an operational environment. That's why the changes come in a series of phases. I hope the light thing makes it. That would be soooooo cool to be doing a mission and have EVA tell you that you had five minutes of daylight left and to activate your suit lights.
I must hold my tongue now I have said too much.
But to be honest the dream is comming back to me now.
Stronger than ever before.

I am extremly glad somebody still has a dream :D. And i am also very happy that Space Camp is doing so much to make thier programs an even more awsome experience. I have been 4 times and never once regretted the money i have worked for and spent there and it was never the same any of the times i went either. I have always had great experiences at camp and think that as long as i go i will continue to and i think that speaks for just about everybody on this bored!

Hi again. Just got home from a 12 hour shift of sautering control panels for the sims. Ahh the smell of sauter. Today I worked mostly on Atlantis and Intrepid sims. The techs really are working hard this week to make it all come together. It really is a privilage being able to help them out.
They give so much to make everything run so smoothly at camp yet work behind the scene so much that they are seldomly noticed for the things they do. I can't wait till Christmas Camp to see it all work. When you come think about the Techs. Without them this place would not be possible.
Tomorrow should be fun. Hopefully I will help finish up Intrepid Station. I will let you know how it goes.

Ahh what a day. Today we finished wiring up the panels for Intrepid Station. We mounted the last panel in it at about 6:30. Fun fun. Hopefully in the next two days we will have all the computers hooked up. Man there is a lot of wires in those panels. Anyone who tells you that those switches are not wired up don't know what they are talking about. When I woke up this morning I felt a piece of wire in one of my fingers. It had just started getting sensitive. Ouch! I said as I pulled it out with a set of digital calipers. (not a good use for the calipers)
As a side project I am working on a helment modification for the suits. It will include air circulation and lights. I mounted two LED lights on it and let me tell you the light looks pretty cool. It is the same color as the lights showing up in newer cars.
Man I am tired but I feel we got a lot done today. Enterprise MOCR is looking more complete. Intrepid Station is almost complete. Atlantis got a facelift and looks nice. Can you tell I enjoy my job. It's fun.
I will keep you all updated.

I will see what I can do. It will probably be next week before I can get to it. As I will be caving at the end of this week and will not be back till Monday.

Hi everyone. 14 hours of goodness today. I did some more work on Intrepid Station. Mostly cleaning up our mess and routing more wiring. Later today I helped with the many circuit boards the allow all those switches you guys flip "talk" to the computers. Really been honing my sautering skills this week. Man I will be ready to see some missions on the sims. Fun Fun. Mabe they will let the counselors do a mission. That would be cool. I really haven't done one in about five years.
Hey Monkeynautt, did I work cargo bay or middeck on your mission. I do remember showing some of my caving pictures to someone on a mission. Wasn't sure if it was you or someone else. My mind is like a hard drive that hasn't been defragged in five years. Yea caving is another passion of mine. Wonderous places caves are.
Anyway got to go for now. Doing some animation work and my poor computer doesen't like it when I share my meager resources with the internet (or any other application for that matter :-) )
I will up date tomorrow.

Youd think letting the counselors do a mission wouldbe the least they could do with all the work our doing.
