The web site is easier to maintain I suppose. And much cheaper. I just wish they'd update the pictures more... maybe put up a virtual tour of the place... ya know? Something to satisfy my 11 year old curiousity about the place. That's really the only reason I kept requesting the books because they changed from year to year... but now... why bother!

Well even the photos on the website are more up to date than the last time you were their. It would be nice for them to update it more though. A virtual tour would be great. Even for someone whos only been gone 4 years because i know they have changed some stuff.

Some of them are yeah, but when you have pictures of a kid in a chair that was on the 1991 programme guide then... its time for a change :)

Oh, I agree... it's better than nothing. But still, you'd think they could update some of those pictures. I mean that poor kid has grown up already... probably has kids of his own by now.

True and if he does have kids i wonder if they have seen their fathers picture on the web page or from the old brochure . And i wonder if they have ever been to space camp.

There was a boy my my team who was actually from huntsville. He missed the first week of school to come to ASA but it didn't count as an absense. Also, from 2001 to 2002 space camp changed a little bit. Some of the portable building were removed and a lot of the lectures were different. It also seemed like their were less lectures. I can't even imagine how much has changed since 1991.

Well i went for the first time in 91 and the last time in 98 and can honestly say there werent a whole lot of changes in those 7 years. There were a few here and there Like the growth of AC and the changes made from Space Academy Level 2 to Advanced Space academy but really the changes from Academy 2 to ASA and aditions to ACreally seemed to be the only major changes in that time. There were more minor things during those years though. Obviously alot is changing all of a sudden at camp now though. Which is definately a good thing since as far as i know the last major changes to the training center were made when they went from the old one to the current one in 87.
