I'm Back! (finally)

Hello everybody. Summer is over so I'm finally back and can post again. I got back from Peace River Saturday night and school started yesterday. now to my trip....

ASA this year was so much more better than last year. I don't know how to explain why it just was. I was on the Shepard team (again) and what's really funny is I had the same morning counsellor as last year (Ben). My night counsellor was Michelle. Nathalie was there also as the counsellor of Tereshcova (i cant spell). They were on a break from the mall tour. SCUBA was awesome as always. I got to make a pyramid thing under water. Our team did good for area 51 but we didn't win. At first we didn't do so well but as the missions went on we started to work really well together. We even got the bucket one! I think we were the only team that got it my week. Now the EDM.....

This year i was pilot for the first half and flight op 2 for the second. The first half was really stressful because the commander didn't know what she was doing so i was doing both jobs. We had medical anomilies from the start and so medical supplies were floating all over. We had no lights for half an hour. It is very hard to see some of the switches with no lights on. I really didn't like my experience in shuttle. The second half was so much more fun. Our liquid waste exploded and Zach got sick from touching it. Some got on the keyboard and we didn't know about it so Sam got electrocuted. Then we had an "event" (i'll edit it so Vince doesn't have to) that forced us into the node (you may be able to guess what it was). We had a little to much fun back there. Tanya was hot so she was pretending to strip in front of the camera. We were singing 99 bottles of beer on the wall at one point. We were also making fun of our SSPI because she was having medical problems and she was British which made it more fun. When we went back into the station all our stuff was all over the place even though we put everything away. While I was fixing a crack in the window i lost two fingers. They got sucked out the window. I got to scream until they gave me painkillers. We had a leak because of the windows but luckily we were smart enought o put our "space suits" on. I alos got a migrane headache and went and hid under the counsellors chair for 10 minutes. Someone got hit in the head with a book and was bleeding all over. We never really did any of the script except our experiments, the rest of the time we were fooling around. For the last 30 minutes we had no contact with MOCR so we fooled around even more. We had a bunch of medical anomlies to solve. Our EDM ended and we went back to hab. It was an awesome 6 hours and i hope to do it again.

The EDM was Wednesday. We did a bunch of stuff on thursday and Friday was our picnic. Right after our picnic was our rocket launch. Our rocket was the first one whose parachute worked and we were closer to the back of those launched. As soon as the last rocket was launched it started to poor rain. We went shopping and then Grad. I wore my flight suit to grad along with 6 other people from my team. My team won Spce Bowl. We rock!!!

My flight left Saturday afternoon. I was the last one to leave. It's been almost a month and i wish I was back. Hopefully I'll be able to go for two weeks next year!!!!

Well sounds like you had a great time welcome back. And please keep posting the hab has been pretty dead over the summer except for me and Richasi posting and matt ocasionally. Also did you get one of the new dark blue flight suits or was it one you already had?

I used my old flight suit. People who bought one this year got a dark one but I don't want a new won. The dark blue ones kept breaking. h leg pocket with the zipper- the zipper kept coming off. And of course I took lots of pictures.

Hey welcome back. Ben was a cool counselor huh? Nathalie is pretty cool too. Sounds like u had tons of fun We won space bowl too YAY. lol well anyways welcome back!

Well i guess ill wait to order a dark blue one then and hope the quality will improve. And we won space bowl too ofcourse that was 4 years ago but we still won. More acurately i won space bowl for us but anyway.
