Ropes Course Counselor

Post by iocaste90 »

Hey guys,

I wanted to apply to be a counselor, but by the time I got around to doing it, the applications were no longer available. I applied to be a ropes course counselor instead, although i haven't had any formal training (participated in a few a school but that's about it)

Any tips- do I even stand a chance? I have a good amount of experience working with children, but like I said that's about it. Have any of you guys done this? And if so, what's it like. Hopefully, if I receive this job, they'll also offer me an RA position since I live pretty far away.

You definitely have a chance. Just the fact that you have *some* experience is probably more than a lot of people that start at the ropes course.

They can teach you what you need to know.

They can "show you the ropes", so to speak. :D

Enthusiasm and honesty shine through at interviews. Be yourself. And good luck!
