CONGRATULATIONS VINCENT!!

Post by SpaceCanada »

In case you haven't read yet, Vincent will be a part of the Space Camp Hall of Fame 2008!!

Wooo! I knew that nomination would make it through one year, and I'm glad it was sooner than later.

Congrats Vincent!

Vincent, You're Brilliant!

Post by jasonj »

I'm teaching these days, and one of my fifth grade students made a cool rocket out of Legos. He's a former Space Camper himself, and I ask him, "What kind of rocket is that?" He replies, "It's an Orange-stone. It's my own design. It runs on Mentos and Coke."

It made me miss the place, so I called. Besides a bunch of gossip I find out about Vincent's induction. So Vincent, I finally stopped being a voyeur on your site and signed up to congratulate you. They couldn't have picked a better person.

I'm so glad they put it online. It wasn't the same as being there but it was still great. It makes me want to go back so I can see the Davidson Center in person.

I just saw the new Davidson center this weekend at the Alumni academy. Trust me, if you can get the time you need to go see it. I'm proud to say that the USSRC built a building that was worthy of the artifact it was built to hold. Really a job well done.

I'm really late on this one, but I FINALLY downloaded the VLC player and watched the whole Saturn V/Hall of Fame video. I watched it over three days and wow, it's a nice video. I like how they pieced together all the Saturn V footage as well. I hadn't seen any of those before.

Great speeches from all the HOF inductees too - well done. You guys are all amazing people and your stories are incredible.

That's all from me for now. Congrats again Vincent (and Lisa and Safety and...)

Oh, and what does this hall of fame look like anyway? Does anyone have a picture of it? I'm curious, as always.
