When We Left Earth

Post by Conan »

This is a great new documentary series that premiered on the Discovery Channel last night. Lots of previously unseen archival footage from NASA on the early days of the space program up to the present. I've only seen the first half hour or so but the rest of last night's 3 hours is on my DVR. It will be continuing for the next two Sundays. Definitely worth seeing.

Too bad I can't see it. I have no cable. It sucks to have these kinds of shows on channels that I don't have. I will be getting at least basic cable after I move, so hopefully I will have the Discovery Channel and be able to watch interesting series like this one.

My Tivo showed two different show titles for Sunday, but when I played them they were both the same show. :(

Discovery Channel sent me an email offering free shipping on the DVD set for this show so if you don't have cable, you can already get the DVDs. I forwarded it on to my siblings as a not so subtle hint that it would make a great birthday gift for my birthday next week. I don't know if it will work, though.

I didn't realize it was out on DVD yet. I don't have cable so I missed it on tv.
