Yesterday America announced that it was going to shoot down an errant spy satellite in order to prevent the fuel from becoming a toxic cloud.
Today several countries are screaming about America's "Anti-satellite capability".
C'mon people. Did you really think we couldn't do that? We can shoot down a nuclear warhead at a moments notice, but we can't shoot down a satellite in a relatively known orbit. C'mon.

Well few people know none of this technology is new. The former Soviet union successfully did several anti sattelite test using other sattelites to destroy a target sattelite as part of their Cosmos program in the 60s or 70s
